  • Each child will have the opportunity to play in all 3 sessions (Spring, Summer & Fall).
  • In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your kids in 1 session.  This saves on NGIN processing fees.
  •  No adjustments will be made following registration.
  • On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order.

CGU Financial Aide Information

COTTAGE GROVE UNITED (CGU) FINANCIAL AID

CGU RECOGNIZES THE COST OF PARTICIPATION IN YOUTH SPORTS AND THE FINANCIAL BURDEN THAT IT PLACES ON FAMILIES. FOR THE 2023-2024 SEASON, CGU IS ABLE TO OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS TO SUPPORT FAMILIES WHO WANT THEIR CHILD(REN) TO CONTINUE EXPERIENCING YOUTH SOCCER, BUT MAY NOT HAVE THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO DO SO.

●      Given the low cost of our soccer programs, financial assistance is limited to players at the traveling levels, NOT REC SOCCER.

●      Total dollar amount of scholarship awards given, nor the number of applications accepted, can be guaranteed. It is estimated for applications that are accepted, awards per player will range from $175 to $400, with a per family maximum of $800.00

●      The final available budget towards CGU scholarship(s) will depend upon

○      1) funds raised during CGU-wide fundraisers - golf tournaments, etc.

○      2) Final registration numbers

The criteria used and the relative weighting to evaluate the applications and determine the awards will be as follows:

  1. Financial need (40%)
  2. Number of children on a traveling team - (20%)
  3. Community involvement: volunteering, participation in other youth sports, etc. (20%)
  4. Other circumstances as noted in the application (20%)

Applications will be accepted through Sunday, August 1st, with decisions for awards to be made shortly thereafter. Please submit completed applications to the Registrar at registrar@cottagegrovesoccer.org by or before the deadline.
