 Pre-Academy/Recreational

These programs are available for players ages 4-12.  Teams are formed for inter-club play.  More information on these programs can be found on the pre-academy pages of this site.

The Spring program will run for 6 weeks in May-June for ages 4-10.  The Summer program is our largest program with 6 weeks in July-August for ages 4-12.

Competitive/Traveling

These programs are available for players ages 8-18. Teams are formed for play in the MYSA programs against other area soccer clubs.  More information can be found on the Competitive/Traveling pages of this site.

Spring program tryouts occur in the summer with training begining in the winter (January) and play going from April-July.  The fall program is for ages 8-13 and is a short 6-week program.

 Session Costs are $45 and include a CGU T-Shirt. 

They will be held on Wednesdays at 6-7pm for ages 6-8 and 7-8pm for ages 9-11.  The sessions will be held in the District Program center(behind Applebees) in Cottage Grove.

The Spring Recreational Soccer season starts on May 19th and ends with a Jamboree on June 30th.

The season is open to kids from U4-U10.  We have limited availability for this Spring season and will stop accepting new players when we reach 300 kids.  Uniforms are included in the registration fee.

Registration will be open until our maximum number of players is reached.

REGISTRATION FEES:

• Player 1 - $80 ($65 Soccer Fee + $15 CGAA Fee)
• Player 2 - $72 ($57 Soccer Fee + $15 CGAA Fee )
• Player 3 - $65 ($50 Soccer Fee + $15 CGAA Fee)

U8-U10 Academy (Maroon Level) - $315

This program is for our youngest players entering the competitive level.  Our Academy players will play together as a team in the Fall 2011, train in the winter and play in the Spring 2012 Season.  This group of players is chosen from our active pre-Academy teams and returning players and will play at the Maroon level in the MYSA league.  Contact our Director, Craig Mallace (doc@cottagegrovesoccer.org) for information on joining the Academy.  This is an invite only program so please discuss with Craig before registering.  Notifications on Academy placement will occur on Aug. 1.

Spring 2012 U11-U17 (All Levels)

This is our primary competitive season.  Last year we had over 350 players participate in the Spring-Summer competitive season representing Cottage Grove United in MYSA league play against other clubs.  This season starts indoors with winter training and continues all the way through July with the State Tournament.

Registration is available based on your age for the Spring program by following the registration buttons below.

Tryouts were completed in July and registrants that come in after Tryouts will be placed in available spots and on our C3 teams. 

Payment Options:

Payment plans are available for the programs that cost over $100.  The plans are 3 equal installments to occur Sept, Nov, and Feb 1.

Cottage Grove Select (CGS) is a great way for young players to be introduced into the world of travel soccer without the full time commitment!  Teams will practice once or twice a week with the professional level training support you have come to expect from Cottage Grove united.  Teams will play games within 20 minutes of Cottage Grove with one tournament.  CGS will focus on player development within the framework of the training curriculum as set by the clubs' director of coaching.

This program is an opportunity for our younger players ready to move beyond the pre-academy program and compete for the club against surrounding communities.  The teams will compete at the Gold Level in the traveling league.  Uniforms will need to be purchased and will be the same as the competitive teams.
