Craig Mallace is originally from West Lothian, Scotland. He moved to Minnesota when he was a freshman in high school. Craig was a four year starter at center midfield for Henry Sibley High School in Mendota Heights. He earned many accolades including All-State and All-State MVP in the 2002 soccer season. After graduating from Sibley, Craig was heavily recruited and in 2003 committed his collegiate years to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. UWM was ranked #6 in Division I ranking at the time. Craig played all four years at UWM and enjoyed great success, including three straight conference titles and three consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Craig received All-League honors in two consecutive seasons. He is also only the fourth person in school history to lead the team in assists in back-to-back seasons. In the classroom, Craig studied history and communications. In the winter of 2006, Craig was drafted #1 in the Nation for the Professional Indoor Soccer League. In February 2007, Craig signed for the Minnesota Thunder and played two seasons.
Craig is also the Varsity Head Coach for the Hill-Murray High School Girl's Soccer Team and the Off Campus Director of Soccer for Marquette University in Milwaukee. Craig is extremely proud to be associated with UWM and hopes to foster this relationship in the future through CG United.
